Mario
I'm developing a story for a spin off of Super Mario Bros! So far I'm calling it "Mario"
Mario - Is a beat down Plumber and leads a lonely but modest life. He can barely pay his rent and is coming off a drug called "Star." little does he know that he is destined for great things
Peach - She is a successful actress/model and is working her way to the top! unfortunately most of her fame has been due to the help of mob boss Bowser, which leads her into some trouble later on down the road.
Luigi - Is the brother of Mario. They used to work together until something took a hold of Luigi. Although Mario was able to control his addiction to "Star" Luigi couldn't. Now living in the streets lost and confused he has forgotten who he is and where he comes from! Always finding the next fix Luigi slowly deteriorates.
Toad - he is basically the source of all the drug connections, if you need to get high hes the man with the goods, mon
Bowser - Is the mob boss in my version of super mario. He is responsible for crime, drugs (Star Power), and corruption in the mushroom kingdom. He also helps young actress/models (peach) get their break by using his power and wealth. If they don't pay up, then they swim in the water level with cement boots
Wario - is basically a competing Plumbing service out to take out Mario, and Luigis small shop. But he also gets money from Bowser for his services outside of plumbing (Hiring Goons). Wario, however, has a different agenda for bowser. He is slowly letting his goons work their way up to the top so that he can make his move and take over bowsers kingdom. All the while trying to stomp marios business to the ground!

Walking on the Moon
This is inspired by the song called "Walking on the Moon" by The Dream featuring Kanye! It's a lovely song and if you listen to the chorus you well see where the inspiration came from! It was my friend Casey's Idea to do this. She suggested as I was doing live paintings at my art show in long beach. Anyways i hope you likes 
Demo the demon
Here is a demo i did for class on taking a valued sketch to color here are some of the passes :D
1st one is the value sketch, in this stage I try to find something worth rendering lol
2nd one is the base color, if this was traditional it would be the wash right before you start adding other colors like the burnt sienna overlay :)
3rd is when i start adding my secondary colors and values, pretend its like water colors! :D
4rth is when i start adding detail this part is fun, and tedious at the same time.
5th is as far as i took it in the class, but honestly the most important stages are the first ones.Because now I'm just noodling ;) hope it makes sense and if it doesn't, haha too bad! go practice and learn your own method that works best for you! :D
Inspired!
Here is a sketch I did after being so inspired from Carlo! The approach he had to tackle down a design graphically was amazing! It is precise and efficient! The things I need to do on my own, is fill my head with graphic and technical shapes to help me come up with better shape formulas for the designs ill do in the future. I have yet to really sit down and start figuring out the design I have to do for class, but I'm definitely excited to do it :) I'll keep you guys posted!Infected Zealot
Infected Zealot-
Possibly the Queen or a Defiler type unit can infest a Zealot and make them a very useful weapon against different enemies. The Zealot gets taken over and becomes a walking time bomb! One of their arms grows and contains flammable gasses that will explode and will infect anything within its blast radius. This soon will make anyone easily ignitable, and opening the opportunity for any remaining infected Zealot the chance to ignite the flammable enemy units, using his fire blade.
Pros- A great area of effect unit if bombarded by a strong mid-game zealot rush. Also if you have any remaining Infected Zealots, would make great opportunity for drops on resources or a quick way to set a base on fire.
Cons- The zealot actually is more zombie like so they don't move as fast as they once did, especially with the weight of their poisonous arm. The Infected Zealot slowly dies, and if he has been combat free, he will have a shell life of 5 minutes till he will completely burst into flames (this act of automatic death wont cause any units to be poisoned, you just lose the zealot)

The Tonight Show with Conan O' Brien
Ive been watching the Tonight Show with Conan O' Brien (replacing Jay Leno) and have been loving it! So as I watch it on Hulu, and I basically paint a painting as I watch! I'm a huge fan and I think he should get all the support he can to boost his ratings! :D Here are the paintings I did on episode 3 and 4, I'm going to go back and rewatch the first ones so I can have some paintings for those! Anyways enjoy! WATCH CONAN!

DW 4 - 2nd pass
These are my second set of sketches! explored some other ideas to see if i can inspire myself into another direction! I started to play with bat wings and long appendages! also what if she had a huge mount instead of hell hounds! and the mount devours souls! Also what if she uses her soul shroud as a weapon! Like her outfit is made of souls but what if it can become chains! or a whip or a blade or bat wings, etc etc! anyways I think i might explore one more stage! I think I'm missing something not sure what yet!
DW 4 - 1st pass
Lilith has been waiting for many years for the hearts of men, to destroy the natural world. Now is the perfect setting for the demons to ravage their hate for all things living, and take over the surface. The jealously of the demons fuels their hatred, and in the for front lies Lilith, the Princess of the of death and darkness!
Still flushing who she really is, but so far so good. I had a few ideas for what her clothing is made up of (Souls and people) but ill start tackling those when i go into the interior design of her costume.
Right now I'm figuring out her overall design, and possibly if she has pets or not! tell me what you think of the sketches I've done so far :D?

Sketch perhaps Epic?
Since I've been working on my project, along with sketch group's project and freelancing, I thought I'd do some sketching. Been Studying lots of Joe Mad, David Finch, Stephen Platt and other various comic book artists, to help me capture emotion and drama. Adding some Zhang Lu type styling. I have been doing Lot's of sketching outside of this painting, to help me capture a cool style for these tank drawings I'm going to do in the next week. I'll be definately posting some final passes of the tank design and possilbly some of the Tank riders. In a few days for critiques. So keep an eye out.

I'm planning to upgrade and level up in my Vehicle/Prop Designs. I'm calling it "The Rule of 3"
-3 settings! Like genre or time period (Sci fi, Dark ages, Victorian etc.)
-Basically design 3 Characters each with their own weapon or prop that is unique to them
-1 vehicle that they all ride, but the vehicle has 3 compartments that are obvious and interesting.
I'll explain it more in detail later, but I would love to get critiques and feedback, and possibly friends to join me on this adventure/learning experience. Comment on this page if you are interested, or even email me at Robotpencil@hotmail.com
